Razan al-Najjar - Palestinian female paramedic shot dead during protest near Gaza fence

A Palestinian female paramedic was shot dead on Friday by Israeli forces inside the Gaza Strip.


Razan al-Najjar, 21, was shot near Khan Yunis on Friday by Israeli snipers while providing first aid to injured protesters at the fence east of Khan Younes, in southern Gaza. Najjar was a volunteer with the ministry, wearing the white uniform of a medic when she was shot in the chest.
